PasaloaAllow us to embellish …

We offer a variety of decoration methods to help you make the perfect impression.  There are a host of factors that will determine the best type of decoration for your needs, including:

  • The type of product you are customizing.
  • The quality and effect of the look you wish to achieve.
  • The quantity you will be producing.
  • Your budget.

Popular imprint methods for merchandise include pad printing, laser engraving, and embossing. The most common decorating techniques for apparel and accessories are embroidery, screen printing, heat transfers, and digital printing. Learn more about embroidery and screen printing below.

Embroidery

Embroidery is the method of choice for customers that want durable, long-lasting, and high quality decorated apparel to promote their business, school, or organization.

EBaviationEmbroidery is the use of colored thread, sewn in to a garment or other product, to produce a custom design.  It creates an upscale appearance with a “3D” texture effect, and is more durable than most decoration methods.  It’s suitable for most apparel as well as other textiles items such as blankets and bags.  Embroidery is very popular for polos, dress shirts, and caps.

The cost of embroidery is based on the number of stitches required to create the design, and the number of stitches is related to the size, density, and complexity of the artwork.  Therefore, if you already have a particular logo or artwork you’d like to use, it’s helpful for us to see it in order to provide you with an accurate quotation.  Want to send us a design?  Email it to us at art@embellishable.com.

There are many variations and enhancements for embroidery, including appliqué (stitching other materials onto the garment for a layered effect) or puff embroidery (putting foam underneath the stitches for a greater 3D effect).  Because embroidery uses thread rather than ink, the image may not be quite as crisp as with some other methods like screen printing.  Nevertheless, you will be impressed with the level of detail that we can achieve.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is an ideal decoration method for customers looking for a cost-effective way to customize apparel and accessories.  Also known as silk screening, screen printing is probably the most versatile and economical type of decorating.  It produces a design on a garment by pressing ink through a template (or “screen”) that contains holes in the shape of the pattern.  Because a separate screen is needed for each color in the design, the cost of screen printing is primarily dependent on the number of colors used.

There are a variety of special effects that can be incorporated into screen printing including metallic inks and puff-prints.  With our more sophisticated printing methods such as “over-sized” and “all-over” prints, we can create very eye-catching effects.

While screen printing is most often associated with t-shirts, it can be used on wide range of materials including ceramics, wood, paper, glass, metal, and plastic.
